The staff at Shevington Library were praised for always being "warm, welcoming and very pleasant". Two representatives are shown with Dorothy who nominated them.

Liz Maxwell has worked tirelessly to make the Shevington Vale and the Shevington side of Appley Bridge beautiful for the past five years since retiring and will take over as treasurer of Appley Bridge in Bloom in 2020. Liz couldn't be at the ceremony and her award was collected by Eileen Longmore.

Judith Nicholson has worked with Appley Bridge in Bloom regularly since soon after it was established nearly seven years ago.Her links with Appley Bridge Community Association's new committee have proved invaluable and she has constantly come upo with new ideas for joint projects. Last year she took over the chairmanship of Appley Bridge Community Association.

Shevington Sharks Coaching and Management Staff, in particular Phil Cheetham, Martin Wilson, Lee Doran, Mick Stanley and Carol Halton for their dedication to the team and the club's players, which is more like a vocation to them than just coaching a rugby team. Whether they are playing home or away, training twice a week in all weathers - they are putting Shevington on the Rugby map!

Carol Halton, Shevington Sky head football coach, for providing tremendous support to players and recognising their progress and achievements. Carol picks up players when they need it and is instrumental in creating their passion for playing for Sky. She is selfless in everything she does and the players benefit greatly from playing under Carol.

Pam has been running the very popular Saturday Art class at Shevington Library for several years, and has acted as the judge in the Christmas Shop Front Award.

The Friends of Gathurst Station have been improving the platfoms at the station and plan to further improve their appearance.

Marguerite Isherwood has been a dedicated litter collector in and around Appley Bridge for many years - a thankless yet oh-so-valuable task.

Jim and Veronica Maloney weren't able to collect their awards at the meeting. They were recognised for their decades-long support for the community in fundraising initiatives, quiz nights, tree plantings and serving as parish councillors, and so much more.
